Our mission is to spread kindness & compassion by creating meaningful opportunities for those facing challenges. Working to inspire thoughtful action in our community and empowering others to uplift each other with kindness.
Our history
Our goal began with a simple idea in our middle school, Prince of Peace Catholic School in Plano Tx. As middle schoolers argued a lot, we decided to combat it by starting Thoughtful Thursdays. Every Thursday, we made an effort to do something thoughtful for another student. As we got older, we realized that this idea could become much bigger. We founded Thoughtful Thursdays as a nonprofit organization on the 4th of November, 2025. Since then, we have gone to multiple service events in groups to help out our community.
Our Future
We aim to expand our organization by partnering with more local nonprofits. Local nonprofits often have limited resources and volunteers which we can help with. By collaborating with these organizations, we can create a sense of unity between many people in service. Our efforts have also spread internationally with mission trips in underprivileged areas. We hope by exposing more people to service opportunities, we can inspire a culture of thoughtfulness in others.
